Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Assistant Commissioner P. Gandhimathi today inaugurated the compost manufacturing centre which converts organic waste into fertilizer. She also inspected the door to door collection and segregation of waste by the corporation workers.
During this inspection she supervised the cleaning of rainwater drains in this area. District Welfare Officer K. Santhoskumar, Assistant District Welfare Officer M .Santhoshkumar, Assistant Town Planning Officer Hemalatha, Assistant Commissioner (in-charge) Mohanasundari among other corporation officials accompanied the Assistant Commissioner during the inspection.
