CCMC creates public awareness on this 'World Toilet Day'.

Drums and Dance was staged at Ward no:28, Boyar Street to create awareness among the public to use the toilets for defecation and say 'No' to open defecation on this 'World Toilet Day'.



Special Officer, Vijayakarthikeyan interacted with the residents on the need of cleanliness and the insights of 'Swaach Bharat Mission' which aims at eliminating open defecation by the end of 2019 in India.

He also educated the residents on the measures taken by the CCMC towards enhancing the sanitary standard in the city. 'The goal of eliminating open defecation though challenging would be attained', said Special Officer.
