School and college students create awareness about Swachh Survekshan 2017 and Swachhata App


A team of about 250 students from various schools and colleges under the leadership of Coimbatore corporation commissioner created awareness about Swachh Survekshan 2017 and Swachhata App in our city. As part of this campaign, the students distributed pamphlets at the Children’s Park in the Racecourse in the city.



Awareness programmes on Swachh Survekshan 2017 and Swachhata app were carried out in all the 100 wards of Coimbatore corporation. During the campaign, the students educated the people about the Swachh Survekshan 2017 and Swachhata mobile app.

Vehicles with slogans of ‘Click a photograph and bring change’ and ‘We have a great weapon no our hand. ‘Take photographs, download Swachhata app and clean your locality at no cost’ were used for creating awareness about the Swachhata app.
