Car crashes into wall, enters home and injures residents

There are homes on the roadside in Ajjanur on the Vadavalli road. Last night a speeding car lost control and entered the home of Kalimuthu in Ajjanur after hitting the wall. Kalimuthu's mother Lakshmi (60), daughter-in-law Saraswathi (35), grandchildren Sangeetha (12), Udhayasankari (9) and Ranganathan were injured.



People in the neighbourhood admitted the injured persons in the Coimbatore general hospital. The driver of the car escaped from the location. Vadavalli police inspector Chitra and her team of police personnel confiscated the car. Upon enquiry, they found out the car was driven by Rajan of Sundapalayam. Police are investigating whether he was under the influence of alcohol. Police are searching for the driver.
