Regional passport office launches E-Seva platform

The regional passport office has introduced a new platform called e-seva to connect with the public directly thereby bridging the gap between their department and public.

Sasikumar, Passport Officer, Coimbatore stated that the e-seva platform would help people to register online and seek appointments anytime between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The e-seva functionality will eradicate all unauthorized travel agents who deceive the applicants by false promises. 

The regional passport office can be reached by the people through facebook, twitter and whatsapp.

The existing grievance readressal forums such as e-mail, fax, letters by post/courier, e-mail will also be open to people for registering their suggestions, complaints and enquiries. If required, the public are welcome to approach the regional passport officer at his office between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on all working days, he stated.
