Trains enroute to Chennai via Coimbatore cancelled tomorrow (14th Dec)


Post 'Vardah' the cyclonic storm that hit Chennai yesterday, heavy rains and continues at the shores. In connection to this,several trains have been cancelled and diverted. 

The following trains enroute via Coimbatore to Chennai stays cancelled tomorrow:

Trivandrum - Chennai express

Ernaculam - Karaikal express

Mangalore - Chennai express

And, the Cheran express that was scheduled to leave from Coimbatore to Chennai tonight 22:40 hrs has been re-scheduled to depart by 06:15 hrs. 

The other trains that has announced as cancelled are: Mysore-Chennai Shatabdi, Mysore/Yesvantpur-Yesvantpur/Mysore Malgudi, Chamarajanagar-Tirupathy Passenger, Bangalore City Station-Patliputra Sanghmitra Express, Bangalore City Station- Chennai Mail and Kaniyakumari-Bangalore City Station.
