The public can lodge a complaint regarding illicit liquor - Coimbatore District Collector

District Collector Kranthi kumar Pati has announced that the public can report those indulging in prohibition offences such as making spurious liquor to the police through whatsapp number 76049 10581. Other prohibited offences include selling or hoarding of liquor from outside the State.



Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi kumar Pati has said that the public can provide information about those indulging in prohibition offences to the police through WhatsApp.

In a statement, he said,

In Coimbatore district, the public can provide information to the police about those involved in prohibition offences such as brewing illicit liquor, selling illicit liquor, hoarding of liquor from outside the state, making spurious liquor, etc.

Action will be taken immediately on the information received through whatsapp number 76049 10581, which has been launched for this purpose. The name and details of the informant will be kept confidential.
