The e-seva centres operated by the Tamilnadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation (TACTV) has started 486 government e-seva centers for helping the people to access various government services/schemes.

Along with the existing service, the centre has planned to open out it's services to the elderly to help them procure their Digital life certificates. The service would be available for the pensioners from 24th November 2016 onwards. Pensioners can approach the e-seva centres at their locale and register for their Digital Life certificate using their Aadhar card and by registering their thumb impressions.

The certificates would be issued at the e-seva centres on the spot. A minimal charge of Rs.10/- would be charged per certificate from the applicants.

Earlier, the pensioners had to approach the Pension Disbursing Agency in person to obtain their certificates. Now, through these e-seva centres the elderly can register through the hassle-free process and obtain their certificates in a seamless way.
