Coimbatore : Due to erection of Precast RCC boxes at Karuppur station on Januray 1, 2019 the following changes are made in pattern of train services passing through Salem division.
Regulation of train services on 01.01.2019 (Tuesday)
1. Train No.22815 Bilaspur to Ernakulam will be regulated for 25 min between Danishpet and Salem section
2. Train no 07111 Viskapattinam to Kollam Sabari special will be regulated for 25 min between Danishpet to Salem section
3. Train No. 12675 Chennai central- Coimbatore Kovai express will be regulated for 25 minutes between Jolarpettai- Salem section and will result in rescheduling of Train No. 12676 Coimbatore- Chennai central express for 25 minutes delay(late start).
4. Train no 22637 Chennai Central to Mangaluru central West coast express will be regulated for 20 min between Morappur to Bommidi section
Partial cancellation of train service on 01.01.19 (Tuesday)
1. Train no 66019 katpadi to Salem passenger is short terminated at Tinnapatti and train no 66020 Salem to katpadi passenger will be partially cancelled between Salem to Tinnapatti and this train will start from Tinnapatti.
2. Train No. 12243 Chennai central to Coimbatore shatabdi express will be regulated for 35 minutes between Jolarpettai – salem section and in return it will be 35 minutes late start for 12244 Coimbatore to Chennai central shatabdi express
3. Train no 66020 salem to katpadi will be regulated for 30 minutes between salem to Jolarpettai section.​
