'Do not compromise with your child's health', Corporation Commissioner urges parents to administer Polio drops on March 10

Coimbatore : The health department of the City Corporation is gearing up for the pulse polio immunisation programme (IPPI) to be conducted on March 10 (Sunday) in the district.

Coimbatore : The health department of the City Corporation is gearing up for the pulse polio immunisation programme (IPPI) to be conducted on March 10 (Sunday) in the district. 

Speaking on the camp, Corporation Commissioner Shravan Kumar has requested all the parents of children within age 5 to administer Polio drops to their wards and eradicate polio..

He also added that parents should not fall prey to false information on administering polio drops. Instead should bring their children to the polio camps between 7 am and 5 pm.on March 10.

The camp will be held at all primary health centres, government schools, private hospital and at all prominent locations including bus stands and railway station.
