Online applications invited for ITI training program at Anaikatti (for tribals)

Coimbatore : Online applications are being invited from applicants from May 3 onwards for admission for Government ITI at Anaikati for tribals. The last date to apply online has been announced as May 31. And, the classes will begin from August 2019.

Coimbatore : Online applications are being invited from applicants from May 3 onwards for admission for Government ITI at Anaikati for tribals. The last date to apply online has been announced as May 31. And, the classes will begin from August 2019.  

The ITI in Anaikatti was started specifically for the tribal people of the region. Admissions for the academic year 2019 for both 1 and 2 year courses for both genders (male/female) are conducted for Electrician, MMV, Fitter, Turner, Wireman and Welder.

Those who wish to enrol can apply online at www.skilltraining.tn.gov.in. Those who cannot apply online can apply at the  Government ITI centre in Coimbatore with proper documents.

· Education qualification - Applicants should have passed 8th and 10th grade for industrial training

· Age limit – 14 to 40 for male. No age limit for female.

· No fee for training program

· Free bus pass will be provided for all trainees

·  Attendance based scholarship amount of Rs. 500 will be granted.

·  Trainees will be provided with uniforms, slippers and graph tools, free of cost

· Based on the competence of the trainees, free bicycle and laptop will be provided

· NIMI book will be provided to all trainers, free of cost

*Trainees, who complete training will be assured jobs in private companies through campus interview.
