Coimbatore: Acting swiftly after a car cylinder exploded in the area under Ukkadam police station limits in Coimbatore city in the wee hours of October 23, the police swung into action to ensure that no traces were tampered with.

When Jamesha Mubin saw the police patrolling the area in the early hours of the morning of the incident, he was unable to continue to drive through the area.
