Badri Seshadri arrested - MLA Vanathi Srinivasan condemns fascist action

Badri Seshadri, the owner and writer of Kizhakku Padhippagam, has been arrested. "I am aware that he has been arrested for speaking on a YouTube channel on the Manipur issue. I strongly condemn this.”, said MLA Vanathi Srinivasan

Coimbatore: BJP National Women's Wing president and Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan condemned in a statement.

Badri Seshadri, the owner and writer of The Eastern Publishing House, has been arrested. "I am aware that he has been arrested for speaking on a YouTube channel on the Manipur issue. I strongly condemn this.

"The DMK government is trying to create fear among those who are opposed to the DMK government so that no one can talk or write about the mistakes and oppressions of the DMK government.

The DMK will teach others about democracy, freedom of expression, freedom of speech, right to writing and personal rights. But once you come to power, even a small 'hum' means imprisonment. 'Why?' is exile.

If they want to be arrested for speaking, writing and posting comments on social media, most of the DMK cadres must remain in jail permanently.

Badri Seshadri, through Kizhakku Padhippagam, brought about major changes in the Tamil publishing industry. He is an expert in mathematics and has written many books in Tamil on mathematics. He has been courageously expressing his views on various issues affecting the society. He puts forward alternative ideas to the DMK. He has been arrested because he exposes the mistakes of the DMK government with evidence.

This is blatant repression. Fascist action against democracy. It is not possible to think that the voice against the state can be suppressed through repression. This is the age of technology. People are aware of the facts that happen every second. You can no longer deceive people by telling lies and lies. Therefore, the fascist measures should be abandoned and Badri Seshadri should be released immediately. The false cases filed against him should be quashed," she said.
