Speaking to reporters after the event, Devarajan said, The All India Forward Bloc is part of the India Alliance. The DMK is in this alliance. The alliance is led by the Congress.

The second meeting of the India Alliance was held in Bengaluru on the 17th and 18th of last month. It was decided that all the parties will come together to face the coming Lok Sabha elections. The third meeting of the "INDIA" alliance will be held in Mumbai under the chairmanship of Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray.

The main objective of this alliance is to defeat the BJP in the lok sabha elections across India. Wherever there are opportunities, we will defeat the BJP by fielding a common man as our candidate," he said. For the BJP, steps have been taken to ensure that the votes of those who are against it are not scattered. In the last election, the BJP got only 33 per cent of the votes.

The remaining 67% of the votes voted against the BJP. In the coming elections, decisions have been taken to ensure that all of them come together and get this 67% vote share without being shattered.
