Man Arrested for Selling Drugs Near Kurichi, Coimbatore

On April 21, Coimbatore Podanur police arrested a man near Kurichi for selling drugs. During interrogation, a total of 12 tablets were seized from him.


Coimbatore: During their routine patrol last night, the Podanur police team took into custody a suspicious individual near Kurichi area. Upon questioning, the person initially gave inconsistent replies which led to a further search revealing his involvement in drug sales.

Continuous interrogation disclosed the suspect's identity as Latheef, aged 32, from the Kurichi area of Podanur. He was subsequently arrested and presented in court, following which he was remanded to custody. During the arrest, police also confiscated 12 tablets of drugs from his possession.
