During the inspection, the councillor thoroughly examined the stock position of essential commodities and the distribution procedures followed at the shop.
The councillor directly interacted with the public present at the shop to verify whether food items were being distributed as per government-prescribed quantities. She monitored the shop's operations to ensure that no irregularities were taking place in the fair price shop procedures and that citizens were receiving their entitled supplies properly.
On the same day, Councillor Ambika Dhanabal also supervised the removal of posters pasted on roadsides near Peelamedu Nav India Bus Stop. During this work, she instructed sanitation workers to clean the posters in a manner that would not obstruct vehicular movement and to immediately transport the removed posters without leaving them on the roadside.
Additionally, drainage silt removal work was carried out in the Peelamedu Rangammal Koil Street area today.
