The relocation was overseen by Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS.

The deer, which were previously kept in Ward 83 of the Central Zone of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation's VOC Biological Park, were transported to their new habitat using vehicles. This initiative aims to provide the animals with a more natural and spacious environment.

The relocation process was carried out in the presence of several officials, including District Forest Officer Jayaraj IFS, Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumaran, Wildlife Veterinary Officer Sukumar, Forest Ranger Thirumurugan, Corporation Veterinarian Dr. Saravanan, Zonal Health Officer Gunasekaran, and other Corporation officials. The Siruvani forest area, known for its rich biodiversity, is expected to offer a more suitable habitat for the spotted deer to thrive in their natural environment.
