Coimbatore: A delegation from environmental NGO Siruthuli met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and discussed the organisation’s ongoing environmental initiatives, as well as key issues requiring government attention.
The delegation comprised Chairman Dr. S. V. Balasubramaniam, Managing Trustee Vanitha Mohan, Steering Committee Member R. S. Krishnaswamy, and Chief Operating Officer C. Chinnasamy.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Chief Minister of Siruthuli’s ongoing initiatives, including waterbody restoration, afforestation, waste management, and environmental awareness programmes. The team also outlined the organisation’s long-term vision of strengthening ecological resilience and advancing sustainable development across Tamil Nadu.
