Training programme for Female Police officers in the City

The childline along with police department had organised a training for women police officers on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act at the conference hall of the city police commissioner's office on Thursday.

The main aim of the training was to make police officials deal with children who have committed any crime and treating them with more humanity. City police commissioner Amalraj stated that children’s should not be threatened or beaten as it will create a negative impact on child’s mentality.

The key speakers for the training who briefed about POCSO  Act were B Anilkumar and S Arunmozhi, state level coordinators of Childline India Foundation.
