Plant Molecular Farming workshop at Bharathiar University, a initiative by UKIERI

The Department of Biotechnology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and Institute for Infection and Immunity, St George’s University of London, are jointly organizing a two-day workshop on ‘Plant Molecular Farming - III’. 

Similar events were held during 2012 and 2014, this marks the third event in association with UKIERI (UK-India Education and Research Institution). 

The two-day workshop will highlight on all latest research and developments in Molecular Farming. 

The workshop was inaugurated today by Prof. P.S. Mohan, Registrar, Bharathiar University. He stated that research on plants will play a huge role in future biotechnology related researchers.

Prof. Julian Ma, St George’s University o London, UK and Dr. R. Sathishkumar, Asst. Prof -Plant Genetic Engineering Laboratory delivered the vote of thanks.
