Toddler dies after accidentally consuming medicine


A 17-months-old baby died yesterday after accidentally consuming lice medicine. 

Rajkumar and Kangavalli residents of Singanallur Housing Unit are parents of two kids. 

On 9th August, Yesterday, their second child Jeevanandham (17 mths old) while playing with his elder brother, accidentally consumed the medicine meant to control lice. Little later, the child fainted off. 

The parents rushed the kid to the Government Hospital and was undergoing critical treatment. Unfortunately, today the kid passed away without responding to the treatment.

The dolorous incident has sent a cautionary statement to all the parents to keep such inedible products away from the reach of the children.
