Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi for three days starting today

Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will undertake a three-day visit of his parliamentary constituency Amethi beginning Wednesday, during which he is expected to rake up the issue of multiple development projects which have been stalled by the BJP-led NDA regime at the Centre.

According to reports, these developmental projects were introduced during the former UPA regime.

Gandhi will be staying will stay at the Munshigunj Guest House in Amethi and is scheduled to attend several political and non-political functions.

He will also be addressing a public meeting in Jagdishpur and will chair a meeting of party leaders at Munshiganj.

The Congress vice-president's visit to his parliamentary constituency assumes significance as Uttar Pradesh goes to polls next year.
