Solar scam Saritha Nair to move High Court

Saritha Nair, one of the prime accused in the solar scam on Wednesday said that she would move the Kerala High Court on March 8 seeking a third party independent inquiry into the scam.

Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, she said that her decision was because she doubted the investigations conducted by Kerala Police as it is under the control of the State Government.

She also said that the inquiry commission probing the scam was set up by the Kerala Government and that the politicians against whom she had levelled charges had not been called for inquiry.

Ms. Nair said that she had produced 75 per cent of the evidence in the form of digital materials and documents before the commission.

She added that she would be disclosing more evidences relating to the involvement of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, in the scam before the High Court on that day.

Windmill Scam

Ms. Nair was produced before the Judicial Magistrate – VI in Coimbatore on Wednesday in connection with the windmill scam in which two parties were said to have been cheated to the tune of several lakh rupees.

Magistrate R. Rajavel issued an arrest warrant for A.C. Ravi, who worked for the company floated by her and her ex-husband Biju Radhakrishnan.

He also posted the case for hearing on March 16.
