Man injured with knife while purchasing cinema tickets in Gandhipuram

Riyaz and Sabeena are residents of Karumbukkadai in Coimbatore. The couple tied the nuptial knot about three months ago. Recently, Riyaz went to purchase cinema tickets at a theatre in Gandhipuram. While waiting in the queue, he entered into an argument with another person. It is reported that Riyaz was stabbed with a knife by this person. In this attack, Riyaz sustained injuries on his face and hands.

The public who witnessed this incident, rushed an injured Riyaz to the Government Hospital (GH). Based on a complaint filed by Sabeena, the police has registered a case and are investigating.
