Every toddler loves to play, but to entertain him all day is just not possible. That’s when you can give your toddler a peek- a- boo to his first school at Teeming Turtles, Saibaba Colony.

Teeming Turtles is one of those few schools that offers a mother and child program with activities that develop your child’s both physical and intellectual skills.
Started by a young educationist , Tejal Sangani in the year 2014, with just 3 students, today she has spread her methodology of teaching to more than 75 kids in a span of 3 years.
“We believe in paying utmost attention to every child, I don’t enrol more than 18 kids in my school and for these 18 kids we have 2 teachers and one attendant to take care, apart from the mothers for the mother and toddler program.” As quoted by Tejal.

The way of learning is very different at Teeming Turtles, the kids are given more time to play, sing and be themselves than follow a guided rule. There is huge sand area in the backyard with all sorts of props to develop a child’s motor skills.
For the toddler age group the activities are concentrated more on increasing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and other activities to make the child more independent. It also gives the mother a new exploration into various activities she can do with the kid to keep him busy and going.
“The mother is the best teacher to the child, but there are some things a child only learns in a school, like meeting new people, learning to play with other friends, adjusting to different kinds of food, being a part of group activities and most importantly becoming independent.” Said Tejal.
