Tamil Nadu Assembly begins after a short break, will vote of trust get postpone?


Tamil Nadu assembly gathered today where Chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy was about to prove his majority to form the government. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy along with the MLAs who support him were  brought to the Assembly after 11 days of stay at a resort at Koovathoor, Chennai. 

The opposition parties were hell bend to opt for the secret ballot but responding to their demands Speaker Dhanapal responded by saying that he will take a decision on voting and nobody can interfere in his powers. Following this comment by the speaker the opposition members created a ruckus on the floor. This caused an outbreak of ruckus at the assembly. 

Assembly speaker Dhanapal's chair and mike was attacked by the MLAs from DMK party, who also sat in his chair and raised slogans against his decision. This chaotic situation made the Speaker postpone the session for 45 minutes. So the assembly was adjourned till 1.00 pm. Now the assembly has commenced, and still the chaotic situation takes the centre stage at the assembly. Whether the assembly will continue or will the vote of trust will be postponed? is the much-awaited question of the hour.
