Cleanliness Drive at Children’s Playground in Coimbatore’s 87th Ward

Following a request from local residents to Council Member Babu, a significant cleanliness initiative was undertaken at the children’s playground in Rajagopal Nagar, Coimbatore’s 87th Ward, with an emphasis on quick completion and reopening for public use.

Coimbatore: In a move to enhance community spaces, the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation recently initiated a cleanliness drive at a children’s playground located in Rajagopal Nagar, part of the city’s 87th Ward. This initiative was undertaken following a request from the local residents to the area’s Council Member, Babu.

The playground, a crucial recreational space for children in the neighborhood, had been the subject of local concern due to its need for maintenance and cleaning. In response to this, the residents approached Council Member Babu, who acted promptly to address the issue.

Yesterday, the playground saw a flurry of cleaning activities, marking a significant step in its restoration. Council Member Babu personally visited the site to oversee the progress of the cleaning work. He conducted a thorough inspection, ensuring that the tasks were carried out efficiently and effectively.

Babu also emphasized the importance of completing the cleaning process swiftly, with the aim of reopening the playground for public use as soon as possible. He urged the municipal officials to prioritize the playground’s maintenance, recognizing its importance as a public amenity for children and families in the area.

This drive is part of the larger efforts by the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation to maintain and improve public recreational spaces, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and accessible for all residents. The prompt response and action taken in this instance reflect the corporation’s commitment to community welfare and the value placed on children’s play areas as vital spaces for community engagement and healthy living.
