Roots Industries India Ltd donates Rs.20 lakhs for construction of toilets in rural areas.

As a part of the CSR activity, Roots Industries India Ltd donated Rs. 20 lakhs towards building of toilets in the villages pertaining to five panchayats, Kunnathur, Pannimadai, Odanthurai, Kurudampalayam and Kovilpalayam (Pollachi). 

Today, Dr. Kavidasan, Director (HR), Roots Group of Industries, Coimbatore presented the cheque of 20 lakhs to the District Collector T.N. Hariharan in the presence of other officials of Roots Industries. 

Roots Industries India Limited has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 10 lakhs and Roots Multi-clean limited has approved a grant of Rs. 10 lakhs. So, the total of 20 lakhs will be used in enhancing the sanitary standards of these panchayats by building toilets.
