During the routine ward inspection, Deputy Commissioner of Corporation P. Gandhimathi inspected the Open Well in GK Sundaram street, Ward No:12 (West Zone). She discussed with the officials on the safety and the cleaning procedures to be carried out at the open well site.
As a a part of the inspection, at Ramalingam Colony and KK Nagar that comes under ward No 12, the segregation of waste at source by the Corporation staff was also inspected.
City Welfare Officer, Maru. K. Santoshkumar, Asst Commissioner (Corporation-west zone) Ramaiah and other officials were present during the inspection.
