Today marks the 127th birthday of B.R. Ambedkar, the principle architect of Constitution of India, a social reformer who fought tough to eliminate the disparities on Dalits and also supporting the rights of women and labor. The nation owes a lot to this great leader who was also our first Minister of law after Independence.
Various political parties and organisations paid tribute to this exemplary leader for his contributions to humanity.

Members of the Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kalagam conducted a rally to commemorate Dr. Ambedkar's birthday. They paid floral tributes to his statue and addressed the gathering of his greatness and his contributions to humanity and Indian Society.
Vanathi Srinivasan, General Secretary of the BJP Party along with her party members also paid floral tributes to the leader and while speaking at the meeting, she said that BJP party will continue to strive hard to fulfill the dream of Dr. Ambedkar by uplifting the lives of the underprivileged people.
