The tournament, held at Kumaraguru College of Arts and Science from October 9 to October 10, witnessed the participation of 14 teams. Nirmala College secured a 3-0 victory against Michael Job College, claiming the coveted title.
In a closely contested match for the second place, COLDS GH Job College and Saint Anne’s Metriculation Higher Secondary School battled it out. Ultimately, Saint Anne’s emerged victorious, securing the third position.
Nirmala College, the champions, received a cash prize of ₹5000 along with a trophy, while Michael Job College, the runner-up, was awarded ₹3000 and a trophy. Saint Anne’s Metriculation Higher Secondary School, securing the third position, received a cash prize of ₹2000 and a trophy. Additionally, all participating teams were honored with certificates and shields for their spirited performances.
The tournament’s chief guest, Ajit Kumar Lal, President of the Coimbatore District Football Association, distributed the prizes and certificates to the winning teams.
