Daylight theft at SIDCO, leaves residents in shock


A theft incident has been reported at SIDCO, Pillaiyar Puram, today morning.

Ayesha(75) wife of retired IFS employee Abdul Pari, resides at Pillaiyarpuram, SIDCO area. Today morning, Ayesha was busy with her routine household chores. Unexpectedly, some strangers forcefully entered the house through the back door and tied her mouth and hands. 

They swindled 30 sovereigns of gold ornaments, Rs. 30000 of cash and a two wheeler parked at her residence and fled from the scene. 

The Podanur Police have filed an FIR on the incident.

The residents at SIDCO were struck in shock as the robbery had taken place during busy hours of the day.
